Roof leak in Bakersfield, CA

This was a roof leak that SERVPRO of NW Bakersfield was called out. Upon technicians arrival homeowner stated that intrusion was coming in from roof leak which was causing damage to one of the bedroom ceiling. Homeowner said, she noticed a drip and she put a bucket to catch the water avoiding damage on the carpet. Our technicians tarped the damaged roof about 200sq ft using 6 mil plastic, wood sticks and sand bags . Also performed a moisture inspection and found high levels of moisture in one bedroom on ceiling. No flooring was affected. After, technicians set up drying equipment to start the drying process.
