This was a water damage in town which was considered CAT: 1 CLASS: 3

The Cause of loss: Insured stated that they noticed water on their wood laminate floor and thought that maybe one of their kids spilled water until she tried to dry it up and she applied pressure on the wood floor laminate then noticed more water coming up thru the cracks. Homeowner had a plumber go out and found that the water spigot adjacent to the kitchen cabinets was leaking. Plumber cut out a piece of the stucco in order to fix the leak. Technicians moisture mapped the affected areas and removed laminate floor & quarter round base on kitchen cabinets. Lower cabinets will need to be packed out and also have to be removed in order to remove wet Drywall and Insulation. In this case the claim was covered by homeowners insurance company.
